Our Story

Let's face it; the past few years have not been all that kind to us. Millions of people have lost their lives to a pandemic of illness and pain, hate has grown to unapproachable levels, and the world is more divided than ever.  The ashes of racism, bigotry, sexism, ageism, political agendas, and uncensored speech have piled up and overcome many of our lives. A small group of Christians united as the Phoenix Church to welcome the suffering into a place where they can truly experience a safe place of worship, free from the ashes that have been strewn upon our world. With Christ and one another, we will rise from the ashes and face the day with joy, love, and peace. 

We are a family of people searching for our way in this world and growing in our fellowship with one another and God's love.  We have imperfect and messy lives, but we continue to pursue and experience a transforming relationship with each other. Everyone is welcome at the Phoenix. Other churches may say it, but we live it.  Whatever your story may be, however many questions you may have, the doubts you live with, or the struggles you face, we are all about facing life together, eliminating hate in the community, and loving God and serving one another in our community. 

The story of the Phoenix Church is just beginning, and we would love for you to be a part of it. There is a wonderful world ahead of us, and together we can face the day and live the life that the Lord designed us to live. Hate has no place in the Lord's House and your life.
